Therapy session discussion

Alex has currently has openings!

As of 10/16/25

Our neurodivergent individual therapy is tailored to provide a safe space for neurodivergent adults, teens, and kids to explore their unique experiences. At Divergent Grove Therapy, we follow the neurodiversity affirming paradigm* and do not try to "treat" your Autistic and/or ADHD traits. Rather we support you in accepting, embracing. and adapting your life in ways that better support your neurotype(s). We believe in honoring agency, autonomy, and nuance, and our approach normalizes sensory overwhelm, decision fatigue, shame spirals, and the beauty of deep feeling and nonlinear growth. We will support you as you work through internalized ablesim and shame.  We will walk alongside you as you discover who are you, without the mask, and let you lead when it comes to decisions to unmask.

*When it comes to other forms of neurodivergence, such as OCD, for example, we recognize that our brains do lots of things to keep our bodyminds safe, including encouraging us to engage in compulsions. We honor and thank our bodyminds for taking care of us, AND if OCD is causing you suffering, and you'd like support with reducing the impacts that OCD has on your life, then we may take more of a "treatment" approach to working with OCD. While we take this approach, we validate where it came from. You will never be told you're wrong or stupid, or shamed for developing coping strategies for your survival.
